A PlayStation VR bundle will be available for pre-order from Tuesday in the US, and it’s very good value for money.
Sony confirmed the news in a PlayStation Blog post. There has been no news yet as to whether or not UK and European customers will receive the same or a similar bundle.
The bundle will ship with the PSVR headset and all that is comes with, a PlayStation Eye camera, two PlayStation move controller and a game: PlayStation VR Worlds (which includes five games within it).
All of this will cost players $499.99. With the headset itself costing $399.99, the upgrade to get two Move controllers, a camera and a game represents very good value for money. The bundle will also be available for pre-order in Canada for $699.99 CAD (where the PlayStation VR retails at $549.99 CAD).
US consumers will be able to place their pre-orders on Tuesday, March 22 from 7am P.T. The post states “if you miss out on this wave of pre-orders, fear not – we’ll have another wave in the summer.”
For fans without Move controllers or the camera, this bundle represents a pretty good option to get everything you need plus an extra game thrown in to boot.
