Chung Hung Steel (CHS), the subsidiary company of Taiwan's China Steel Corp. (CSC) and also one of the major carbon steel flat re-rolling mills in Taiwan, has announced its sales revenue in May was NTD 2.84 billion, decreasing by 3.3% month-on-month and 23.8% from a year ago due to sluggish demand and prices down. CHS said its total shipping quantity in May was 132,000 tons which has decreased about 10% from 147,000 tons in April. The company also has cut its June price further, however, its sales might still stay at the low level for a while.
