The Vietnam Steel Association (VSA) announced that Vietnam's output of steel long products totaled 2.26 million tons in the first half of this year, down by 2.1% year on year. In the given period of time, the country's sales volumes of steel products totaled 2.27 million tons, up by 1.5% year on year. In June alone, the country's steel longs output totaled 376,000 tons, up by 9.9% year on year but falling by 4.7% month on month. The sales volumes were at 351,000 tons, rising by 17.9% year on year but falling by 9.2% from a month ago.
