It is learned that sales revenue of flat products in the Brazilian distributors network totaled at 409,600 thousand tons, which means a strong increase of 15.8% compare to the same month in 2012. However, according to local steel institution INDA's data, the sales in September was down by 3.4% compare to this August. As for the stocks in September, it was 1.125 million tons totally, an up of 18.6% compare to same month last year; the inventory turnover remained at 2.7 months. In late June, INDA reduced its outlook for sales growth in 2013 from 6% to 2.5%, after a weak performance in the first half of this year which the market fell by 1.7% over the same period in 2012.
