Global Crude Steel Output in 2012 Ranked China Tops

The World Steel Association announced that the world ranking of crude steel output in 2012 on June 6, 2013. the statistics show that China is the top of list with 716.5 million tons, increased by 3.1%, the market share is 46.3%; Japan is the second, produced 107.2 million tons, down 0.3% year on year; The USA is the third with 88.7 million tons.

From the enterprise ranking, the first is Arcelor Mittal, annual output is 93.6 million tons. The second is NSSC, about 47.96 million tons.  China HEBEI steel and Baosteel group, with 42.8 million tons and 42.7 million tons respectively in 3, 4.

In addition, global crude steel output is 1.5478 billion tons in 2012, increased by 1.2%, and at a high record in 3 years.
