Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Heibei Iron and Steel Group has announced that in February this year its subsidiary Tangshan Iron and Steel Co. (Tangsteel) exported a total of 2,332 mt of pickled cold forming steel for application in the automotive sector. The export volume in question was up 66 percent month on month and constituted a new monthly record.
