Steel Production Decline in Russia From January to May

Russia's bureau of statistics data shows, the Russian steel output is 29 million tons from 1-5 in 2013, down 3.4%. The steel output fell 0.6% year on year in May, year-on-year growth 4.4%.

Steel Production Decline in Russia From January to May

The rolled products production of the first five months in 2013 is 23.3 million tons, and fell by 1.6%. The rolling yield fell 1% year on year in May, year-on-year growth 2.5%. In the first five months of steel pipe output of 4 million tons, up 4.5% from a year earlier. The steel pipe output grew by 4.7% year on year, in May fell 1.3% month-on-month.
