The Infiniti Red Bull Racing 2013 Formula One car has been unveiled at the team’s Milton Keynes base, revealing a new livery for the two cars to be piloted by triple World Champion Sebastian Vettel and Australian teammate Mark Webber.
The Infiniti Red Bull Racing RB9 wears much more purple than last year’s car, emphasising the strengthening relationship between the Austrian energy drink company and the Japanese luxury automotive brand following the signing of a new naming deal last November.
This year’s Red Bull RB9 will take on the likes of the new McLaren MP4-28 (below top) – recently launched alongside the company’s upcoming McLaren P1 supercar – and the Ferrari F138 (below bottom).
The 2013 Formula 1 season, starting in Melbourne on March 14, will mark the end of the V8-powered cars, with next year planned to see the use of 1.6-litre turbocharged V6 units.
