America’s Tire has opened its first store in Jackson, Calif. The new location brings the number of America’s Tire stores in California to 135.
Seven employees have been hired to staff the Jackson store. The 6,930-square-foot store is managed by Art Blansitt, who has worked at America’s Tire for 16 years.
“Based on the market size and demographics of the area, Amador County is a perfect fit for America’s Tire,” says Glenn Sutter, northern California regional vice president for America’s Tire.
America’s Tire is a brand of Discount Tire/America’s Tire, which is part of the Reinalt-Thomas Corp. The company does business under the trade name Discount Tire in most of the U.S. and America’s Tire in Oregon, and parts of Washington and California.
The company ranks No. 1 on the 2013 MTD 100 with more than 870 retail stores.
