Gizmo Beverages is set to showcase its Vessl pressurized closure and delivery device at the Interpack event in Germany.
The event will take place from 4 to 10 May in Düsseldorf.
Vessl is a patented, pressurized closure and delivery device, which has the capacity to instantly blend two ingredients before use.
It can automatically propel and instantly mix the active ingredients, including vitamins, flavors, gasses and serums, into the base container once it opens.
Vessl is said to be customized for making suitable to various base containers made up of plastic, PET, glass, aluminum and other materials.
According to the company, the Vessl proof of concept brand has been developed for a 'Tea of a Kind, which is claimed to be all-natural flavors and real brewed tea.
Vessl will safeguard the freshly brewed tea against the harmful impact of UV light, oxidation and other conditions that reduce flavor, color, aroma and antioxidants in other bottled and ready-to-drink teas.
When twisted, Vessl closure will instantly mix the content in the bottle, enabling to offer better visual confirmation of the fresh-brewed tea.
Other Vessl applications include a nutraceutical product that uses dishwasher-safe reusable bottle, which is currently distributed in 32 countries.
In addition, it is being used for a customizable topical skin-care pod solution, which is expected to be launched in early 2018.
