Capacitor maker Taiwan Chinsan Electronic Industrial is expected to ramp up its capacitor shipments to the industrial sector to 15% by year-end 2014 compared to 10% currently, according to industry sources.
Chinsan, which produces electrolytic and solid state capacitors, also ships 35% of its products each to the TV and power supply device sectors, 15% to the motherboard industry and another 5% to other segments.
Sales for all of 2013 came to NT$3 billion (US$99 million), down 2.8% from a year earlier.
EPS for 2013 is expected to have topped NT$5 as the company posted an EPS of NT$4.03 in the first three quarters of the year, the sources estimated.
