American chain of smoothie stores Planet Smoothie has announced plans to open eight new stores in Central Florida over the next three years.
The company, which already has 28 stores in the region, is seeking franchise partners for the proposed stores.
Planet Smoothie is considering to develop the new stores in the Orlando area downtown, on International Drive, at Florida Mall, Kissimmee, Celebration and Clermont.
It also sees opportunities in Daytona Beach, Ormond Beach, New Smyrna Beach, Ocala and Lakeland.
Planet Smoothie offers smoothies in various flavors, such as strawberries, cocoa, bananas, nonfat milk, vanilla, orange, yogurt, lemonade, raspberries, peaches, chocolate, apple, pineapple, granola, blueberries, grape, coffee, and peanut butter.
The company currently has franchised restaurants in Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
