Global decor paper deliveries (excluding China) improved 16% to 655,000 tonnes in 2010, according to a market analysis contained in Munksjö's annual report for 2011. Some 344,000 tonnes of this sum was destined for decor printers. Munksjö thus felt that printers' proportion of overall deliveries had dipped slightly to 52.5 %. Decor paper deliveries to treater operators increased to 78,000 tonnes or 11.9 % of total deliveries in 2010. Around 233,000 tonnes or 35.6 % were sent straight to wood-based panels and laminates producers.
