Italian car maker Fiat is planning to unveil the new Viaggio sedan at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show in China.
The new sedan will be powered by the1.4 litre T-Jet engine, which will deliver two outputs, including 118hp and 148hp and is mated to either a five-speed manual gearbox or a dual-clutch transmission.
According to the carmaker, the new four-door, five passenger car is also expected to be powered by a MultiAir unit delivering 160hp and 184lb-ft of torque, similar as in the company's Dodge Dart.
The new model has similar features as on the company's Dodge Dart model, including the platform named as the CUSW or Compact US Wide.
The new model is 4,679 mm long, 1,850 mm wide with a wheelbase of 2,708 mm, and is claimed to be the company's 'the new C-segment benchmark'.
It will be built at GAC-Fiat plant in China and will go on sale from September this year.
