Biodegradable films and bags manufacturer EcoCortec has announced the phase three expansion of its Beli Manastir plant in Croatia, which involves an investment of €3m.
Once completed, the expansion will enable the 10,000m2 plant to operate with double production capacity and is also set to increase the company's warehousing capacity.
The scope of the expansion work includes construction of a new production hall that will contain three new high-tech extrusion lines, confectioning line of vapor phase corrosion inhibitor (VpCI) papers, and a warehouse to store various products of Cortec.
EcoCortec's new production hall will also warehouse products of Cortec's Canadian subsidiary Bionetix International.
EcoCortec is an European subsidiary of Cortec, which is engaged in the production and distribution of corrosion protection products.
