Taiwan-based LED firms such as Lextar, Epistar, Everlight, Genesis Photonics, TSMC Solid State Lighting (SSL), and Edison Opto are currently participating in the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition 2013 (GILE 2013) in China from June 9-12.
Lextar is showcasing its new type of plug-in chip-on-board (COB) packaging product, Core. According to the firm, the trend for LED lighting components is integration, and hence the Core series involves optical mechanical integration and is able to deliver high lumen output.
Everlight is showcasing a range of lighting components and fixtures including low-, medium-, and high-power products, and COB products. The firm hopes to strengthen recognition of its brand, Everlight Lighting.
Everlight is showcasing the XI3535 series LED packaging products. According to the firm, this series provides high lumens and efficacy and is well suited for use in lighting-grade high power LED designs such as omni-directional LED light bulbs, directional lamps, decorative lamps, panel lights and other general and residential lighting applications.
In addition, Everlight is also showcasing its 3W and 5W omni-directional LED light bulbs with low power loss and high price-performance ratio.
TSMC SSL introduced the TH3 and TM series at the GILE 2013.Both series adopt the flip-chip structure developed by the firm.
Furthermore, Edison Opto is showcasing a series of components, modules,and ceiling lights at the exhibition, demonstrating its LED lighting technology, its lighting designs and manufacturing services (LDMS) integrated solutions.
