US carmaker Fiat Motor has unveiled the new 500 Turbo small car at the Concorso Italiano event in North America.
The new car is powered by 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo engine, featuring an intermediate shaft to mitigate torque steer, will generate an output of 135hp and 150lb-ft of torque.
According to the carmaker, the engine will be mated to a C510 five-speed manual transmission with a 3.35 final-drive gear ratio which will enhance acceleration and offer faster top speed.
Features of the new car include a lower control arm, sport-tuned spring rates, shock tuning and steering calibration.
Fiat said that the new 500 Turbo will be on sale in the US in fall 2012 at a price of $19,500.
