Fashion retailer River Island has selected Oracle's Retail Planning and Optimisation solution to help support its plans for worldwide growth.
The firm will use Oracle Retail Merchandise Financial Planning,Oracle Retail Assortment Planning and Oracle Retail Item Planning as it looks to adopt improved planning processes to aid in the management of its over 300 stores,both here in the UK and around the world.

River Island hopes to use the commerce anywhere and cross-organisational collaboration abilities offered by Oracle to gain a better understanding of performance through business,thus enabling it to improve customer experience and drive up profits.Oracle Retail Consulting will support River Island with the implementation of the new strategy and solution.

Mike Webster,senior vice president and general manager at Oracle Retail,believes the solution will help River Island as it looks to expand as a worldwide fashion retailer.
