In February, Argentina’s car production was 52,911, down 2.3% year on year compared to 54,159 of the same period last year. In the first 2 months, the cumulative production was 96,972, down 0.8% year on year compared to 96,170 of the same period last year.
In February, Argentina’s car export quantity was 24,646, down 15.3% year on year compared to 29,084 of the same period last year. In the first 2 months, the cumulative export quantity was 48,841, up 7.5% year on year compared to 45,428 of the same period last year. The main export markets were Brazil (occupied 87.4% of the total export quantity), Europe (occupied 3.1% of the total export quantity) and Mexico (occupied 2.5% of the total export quantity).
