Fast Retailing announces that Nancy Pedot has joined the Fast Retailing Group as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Comptoir des Cotonniers and Princesse tam.tam. Alongside her role as CEO of these two brands, Ms. Pedot has assumed the additional role of Fast Retailing Group Executive Officer.
Originally from the West Coast of the United States, Ms. Pedot has worked in the U.S. and in Europe. Her previous roles include CEO positions at the Gymboree Corporation, the U.S. company behind the children's apparel brand of the same name, and The Party City Corporation, the largest retailer of party goods in the U.S. and Canada.
As a result of Ms. Pedot's work in the retail sector, and particularly in the field of supporting new business opportunities, she was named 'Entrepreneur of the Year' by Inc. Magazine in the U.S., as well as featured on the cover of Businessweek magazine as CEO of one of the fastest growing companies in the U.S.
