The decline in turnover and results figures already recorded by Danish timber trading group Dalhoff Larsen & Horneman (DLH), during the first three months of 2012 continued during throughout the period from April to June. Thus turnover in the second quarter declined by 9.6% vis à vis last year’s comparative period to DKK665m. The EBITDA plummeted to DKK10m and the EBIT deteriorated badly to DKK5m. As a consequence the period result for the second quarter, at -DKK18m, went clearly into the red, after recording profit of DKK12m during the comparative period last year. Source: euwid-wood-products
