Chosen Bun opens for business at the end of June with its first site on London's Fulham Road.
Following a year of research, taking in tasting trips across the US from New York to LA, Miami and on to Naples, entrepreneurs Andy Shovel and Pete Sharman, both in their mid twenties, found, what they describe as, the right formula to create the "perfect" gourmet burger.
'Passion for their product'
Speaking about the collaboration, WMH creative director Garrick Hamm said: "What these guys have done, through their thorough immersion in this venture, passion for their product and dedication to ensure the highest quality produce, is brilliant and infectious.? We wanted to capture the exuberance and truth about their brand.
"We've deliberately steered clear of the typical busy and cluttered four-colour visual language of your average high-street delivery business.
"We've?stripped the brand back to black and white, with punctuation of blue on the branding and a ketchup red squirt that crosses out the stuff that they don't do.? It's all about burgers and that's how we have communicated Chosen Bun.??It's witty and reflects the personality of the partners.? And the burgers are the best I've ever tasted."
Shovel said: "It's been quite a collaborative process and I've always had strong views about what I wanted to get.? WMH's work hits the nail on the head.? They completely got us and the result is perfect.
"In five years time we hope to have several managed sites and start to capitalise on franchised opportunities.? By then we will have a strong valuable brand to leverage in other areas too, such as packaged goods in supermarkets."
Williams Murray Hamm has created the brand identity, packaging, marketing communications, tone of voice, copywriting and menus.
