Trade Resources Industry Views Siduri Wines Is Acquired by Jackson Family Wines

Siduri Wines Is Acquired by Jackson Family Wines

Jackson Family Wines has acquired US-based family winery Siduri Wines, which produces California Pinot, for an undisclosed amount.

This follows Jackson Family's acquisition of Zena Crown and Gran Moraine vineyards in Oregon's Willamette Valley.

The acquisition includes Siduri and Novy brands, winery equipment and inventory.

As reported in The Press Democrat, the transaction also includes Siduri's sister winery, Novy Family Wines.

Commenting on the deal, Siduri Wines founder Adam Lee was quoted by Wine Spectator as saying: "This is going to allow us to focus on making wine, which is why we got into the business in the first place."

With this deal, Siduri will have access to Jackson Family's vineyards.

Jackson Family Wines has been rapidly investing in Pinot Noir over the recent years by introducing multiple bottlings from labels such as La Crema, Hartford, Wild Ridge, reports Wine Spectator.

Jackson Family currently owns 40 wineries, primarily in California and Oregon, and also produces wines from Australia, Chile, France, Italy and South Africa. It owns more than 10,000 acres of vineyards in California alone.
