Willis Group's facultative and wholesale reinsurance arm Faber Global has opened a new office in Singapore to cover cfor local and Asian markets.
Faber Asia-Pacific CEO will lead the new Singapore office, reporting to Faber CEO Jason Howard.
The company said that its Singapore office will build on the current platform, offered through the Japanese and Australian business units.
Willis Group CEO and chairman of global businesses Steve Hearn said that the company has made significant progress developing its business in Asia over the past several years.
"The facultative experience and regional knowledge of the newly established Faber team will complement our existing Asia operations and will allow us to offer a full range of value-enhancing insurance and reinsurance solutions our clients," Hearn said.
