United Metallurgical Company (OMK), a leading steel pipe producer in Russia said that its foundry-rolling complex’s production of hot rolled (HR) steel flat products totaled 1.1 million tons in 2012, up by 4% year on year, including 218,000 tons of steel sheets and 257,000 tons of steel strips.
In 2012, it shipped 1.1 million tons of hot rolled coils, strips and sheets, rising by 7% in comparison of the figures in a year ago.
In December, the foundry-rolling complex’s output of hot rolled steel flat products totaled 93.000 tons, including 17,000 tons of steel sheets and 32,000 tons of steel strips.
At the same time, the complex shipped 94,000 tons of steel products.
