The Toyota 86 range has received a mild update for 2014, headlined by minor mechanical and visual enhancements.
Now featuring the same Torsen limited-slip differential as the rest of the range, the price of the Toyota 86 GT automatic is up $300 to $32,790.
The entry-level GT manual remains unchanged at $29,990, continuing to come standard with cruise control, daytime running lights and 16-inch alloy wheels.
The 86 GTS now features a rear spoiler, increasing the price of both manual and automatic models by $500. The GTS specification already included a 6.1-inch display screen with satellite navigation, leather-accented front seats, aluminium pedals and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Metallic paint is an option at $425, as is the $3000 GTS-only aero pack (pictured above).
All Toyota 86 models are powered by the same 147kW/205Nm naturally aspirated 2.0-litre four-cylinder partnered to either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
Toyota recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of the 86′s local launch, announcing that the top-spec GTS model is outselling the base GT two to one, with the former accounting for 65.5 per cent of Australian sales.
