Russian steelmaker NLMK has announced that in the January-August period this year its overall shipments of steel products by railway declined by one percent year on year to 7.65 million mt. In the given period, shipments by railway to the domestic market increased by 7.6 percent to 2.67 million mt, and its export shipments by railway were down 5.1 percent to 4.98 million mt, year on year.
