Heineken Canada Signed a New 3 Year Partnership Agreement with Silver Star Mountain Resort

Heineken Canada is pleased to announce that it has signed a new 3 year partnership agreement with Silver Star mountain resort combining the strengths of Canada's number 1 Import Premium Beer with BC's third largest ski resort.

As a partner brand of Molson Coors Canada, this agreement not only brings with it the strength of Heineken, a globally recognized import premium lager which has just celebrated its 150th birthday, but also a first class portfolio of products. You can expect to see Heineken, Strongbow Cider, Newcastle Brown Ale, Coors Light and Granville Island Pale Ale being served at all five outlets on and off the mountain.

Anne Haight, Director of Sales and Marketing for Silver Star Mountain Resort, said "We're excited to be able to align our emerging brand with one of the world's most recognizable brands" she said. Both parties plan to develop several exciting on-mountain events as well as create engaging retail promotions throughout Canada.

An intimate, colourful, mid-mountain village provides true slope-side lodging nestled in the heart of British Columbia's Thompson Okanagan region. In summer, the Silver Star Bike Park is widely regarded as one of the premier downhill mountain bike facilities in North America. "The year round appeal of this first class resort creates a prime backdrop for seasonal programming and brand support 12 months of the year, making this a partnership that our organization is genuinely excited to be a part of," says Barb Mitchell, Marketing Manager for Heineken Canada.
