Axalta Coating Systems employees has participated at Electrocoat Association's ECOAT14 conference at the Rosen Centre in Orlando. Axalta Chief Process Engineer and E-coat industry expert Joseph Subda's, presentation titled, Innovations in Throwpower: Benefits to the Applicator, has focussed on recent E-coat formulation developments to improve throwpower and self-limiting film-build technology that should result in commercial E-coat products that better penetrate hard-to-coat areas and densely-racked parts. Subda has also addressed the advantages and savings that can be gained from this technology.
"Leveraging more than 145 years of powder and liquid industrial coatings expertise and more than 30 years of commercial electrocoat experience, Axalta is driven to provide innovative solutions," mentioned Michael Bennett, Axalta's Global Ecoat Director. "Its engineers, like Joseph Subda, works to deliver products that meet the most rigorous industry specification requirements, and that are cost-effective and environmentally responsible."
Axalta sponsored the ECOAT14 conference to help support electrocoat education, technology, networking and to share current industry trends.
