Digital Insurance, a US-based employee benefits-only agency, has acquired employee benefits firm TurnKey Benefits for an undisclosed amount to enhance its market presence.
As part of terms of the acquisition, TurnKey Benefits will operate as a division of Digital Benefit Advisors (DBA) and will open a new office in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Further, Shelley Stromple and Mark McLean, co-principals at TurnKey Benefits, along with their team will join DBA to provide expanded offerings and support for clients.
Digital Insurance executive vice president and chief marketing officer Mike Sullivan said that bringing Shelley and Mark into the DBA fold will strengthen the company's presence across the Carolina's and the Southeast.
"TurnKey Benefits is highly regarded for its strategic approach to managing health care-related expenditures by compiling and interpreting data to develop cost-saving solutions for their clients," Sullivan added.
Stromple said that Digital Insurance's employee benefits-only focus mirrors TurnKey Benefits' concentration and was a key factor in the decision-making process to join Digital.
"Being part of the Digital Benefit Advisors' network and having access to its team of experts, wealth of resources and state-of-the art technology platform amplifies our ability to effectively support employers and policy holders," Stromple added.
