Troy Corp. has introduced Troysperse ZWD1, which the company described as "an advanced wetting and dispersing additive." Troy is currently introducing this 100% active, liquid pigment wetting and dispersing additive for aqueous coating and printing ink applications. Advanced Troysperse ZWD1 is especially effective for the preparation of aqueous color pigment concentrates utilizing organic color pigments. According to the company, the performance additive is formulated for excellent color development, fast dispersion time, high gloss, and high pigment loading, and is effective at low use levels, resulting in optimal cost performance. Troysperse ZWD1 contributes zero VOCs to finished products, allowing more latitude in the formulation of ‘green’ products.
