CFIA Do Not to Consume The Seasoned Peppered Smoked Turkey Breast Produced by Lilydale

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has issued a health alert, asking people with allergies to mustard not to consume the seasoned peppered smoked turkey breast produced by Lilydale, as it may contain mustard that is not declared on the label.

The products associated with this alert are: all lots of Lilydale Seasoned Smoked Turkey Breast Peppered and PrimoTaglio Seasoned Peppered Smoked Turkey Breast. These products have been distributed across Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario.

Lilydale, the manufacturer, is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace, while the CFIA is monitoring the effectiveness of the recall.

Consumption of these products may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with allergies to mustard. Till date, no illnesses have been reported associated with the consumption of the these products.
