Switch Lighting announces production of LED A-lamps
Switch Lighting recently announced the availability of its family of LED A-lamps,which are liquid-cooled LED A-lamps that can be used in any fixture,any orientation,and anywhere-indoors and out.
In addition to their 40,60,75,and 100 watt-equivalent lamps,Switch unveiled its Switch3-Way,a 25/50/75 watt-equivalent LED incandescent replacement A-Lamp for use in three way fixtures.The company is also introducing technology for a 220/240V driver to expand their full family of LED A-Lamps beyond US borders to the international market.The 220/240V driver lamps are expected to be released in late 2012.
In addition to the 40,60,and 75 watt-equivalent lamps in warm white 2700K,the company also has its Switch100,a 100 watt-equivalent A-lamp with a 1600 lumen output and radial flux equal to any incandescent available to the market,and a color temperature of 4000K.
Switch's 40,60,75,and 100 watt-equivalent lamps will be available in the US through commercial channels and limited commercial retail distribution this summer and these initial lamps will likely be priced between US$40-60 from distribution,depending on the model,the company said.
