RPC Promens Consumer Kolding is delivering customized PET bottles for Scandic Food’s range of dressings and sauces.
The RPC Group subsidiary will design and supply PET bottles for the Scandinavian food company which is part of the Good Food Group.
According to RPC Promens, the injection stretch blow moulded PET bottles feature gentle curves to give an attractive, trendy look on retail shelves to cut across a family image.
The bottles come in the normal 250ml, 350ml and 400ml sizes and will be joined by a new 520ml format which is to be launched shortly to the export markets.
RPC Promens says that it has given scope for a large decoration area on the bottles to facilitate colourful and distinctive labels to give unique identities to different products in the dressings and sauces range.
The company adds that PET’s glass-like high clarity helps the products from being displayed effectively on-shelf to result in a premium quality image. Additionally, the light weight of the bottles along with the curved design helps in easier handling to derive peak consumer convenience.
Scandic Foods technical product manager Henrik Meldgaard said: “The bottles represent the combination of knowhow, innovative design and the exact understanding of our requirements and our business.
“This also includes experience of the demands we are facing from our customers and the retail chains in different markets.”
Last month, RPC Promens Consumer Kutenholz completed the task of redesigning the packaging for Fruttissima fruit spreads for Schwartauer Werke.
