Pittsburgh Business Times reported that AK Steel Holding is No. 7 on CNNMoney's list of the Fortune 500's "Worst-performing stocks of 2012" for what it said was a 50%t drop in its stock performance in 2012.
The Cincinnati Business Courier, points out that the stock has recovered a bit and it's down now about 45%
AK Steel owns the Butler Works north of Pittsburgh. This month that CEO Mr James L Wainscott bought 100,000 shares of AK's stock for USD 4.01 a piece.
Other companies on the CNNMoney list include JC Penney and Alpha Natural Resources .
