Paul Leibinger, a company that provides integrated solutions for industrial marking technology and the printing industry, has made its new production hall operational for producing industrial inkjet printers.
The company has moved into a machine shop measuring 2,200 m2 that offers space for maximum production flexibility. It has invested a total of €4m in machinery acquisition.
The facility is located in Tuttlingen and will be used for producing industrial inkjet printers. The company had to invest in a new facility to meet the growing demand for their products. With Hermle-Leibinger Systemtechnik moving out, the newly acquired machinery will be installed in both the new and the existing production hall.
With the new production hall, the company says that it will continue to rely on active insourcing instead of outsourcing.
Paul Leibinger CEO Christina Leibinger said: "We are currently in the middle of the machine acceptance phase, then production will begin step by step."
"We already have an unusually high production depth in comparison to the industry and are continuously seeking to increase it. That is the only way we can guarantee our high product quality in the long term and actively influence all production processes."
Established in 1948, the Germany-based company develops and produces numbering machines, camera verification systems and inkjet printers at and sells them in more than 150 countries across the world.
Paul Leibinger currently employs around 200 people in Tuttlingen and another 15 at its subsidiary in East Troy, Wisconsin.
