Israel-based Highcon has introduced its new Direct-to-Pack solution for folding cartons, which is ideal for converters on look out to extend the digital technology into the finishing process.
The digital folding-carton cutting and creasing solution complements the Xerox Automated Packaging Solution which includes the Epic CTi-635 In-Line Coating System and Stora Enso Gallop Buffering Stacker Line and DC58 Die Cutter.
The Highcon Euclid, powered by the company's Digital Adhesive Rule Technology (DART) uses precision laser optics and polymer technologies to convert cutting and creasing to a digital workflow from an analogue.
Highcon sales & business development vice president Chris Baker commenting on the new solution said "We are convinced that the Highcon Direct-to-Pack solution will be a game-changer for the folding carton package printers."
The new technology offers brand owners and converters faster delivery, increased versioning, shorter run lengths and creative designs, the company claimed.
