Howarth Timber Is Developing a New Window Range

Howarth Timber is developing a new window range that will allow for a double or triple glazed window in the same frame. Mick Toner, Howarth Timber factory manager, said Howarth was predicting the industry would move towards triple glazing in the future and believed the company was well positioned to capitalise on the market. The company has seen growth in its "A" energy rated windows during the past two years. The units use Solaglas’ Ecoclear unit with Swisspacer V spacer bars. Swisspacer is now used in 50% of all Howarth's windows. "Swisspacer will also help us with this [triple glazed] market, " added Mr Toner. "It is one of the few warm edge spacer bars strong enough to cope with the extra load of another pane of glass. " Source: ttjonline.com
