A video of the all-new 991-based Porsche 911 GT3 being hustled around a racetrack has been released by the German manufacturer.
The explanatory video shows a white fifth-generation Porsche 911 GT3 tearing – and sliding – around the track, while the new 350kW/440Nm direct-injection 3.8-litre engine and seven-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission are detailed.
With a power to weight ratio of 4.1kg/kW and a redline now at 9000rpm, the first non-manual GT3 will go from 0-100km/h in 3.5 seconds, reach a top speed of 315km/h and still achieve efficiency figures of 12.4 litres per 100km and 289 grams of CO2 per kilometre.
The new Porsche 911 GT3 goes on sale across Europe in August, before limited numbers reach local shores later in the year, with prices yet to be announced.
