JBT FoodTech,an American food processing machinery provider owned by JBT,has signed freezing and chilling equipments supply contracts worth$7.5m with an international frozen food provider.
Under the deal,JBT FoodTech will supply and develop new freezing system in Europe which includes Frigoscandia GYRoCOMPACT M8 spiral freezers and Frigoscandia LVS FRIGoPAK refrigeration systems,used for the production of frozen protein products.
JBT FoodTech Food Solutions and Services Division vice president and division manager Torbjorn Arvidsson said the deal is an example of how the company offers freezing solutions with higher capacity and lower operating costs to its customers globally.
The projects are expected to be fully operational in the first quarter of 2013.
Recently,the company secured cooking and freezing equipment,and dairy processing equipment supply contracts of worth$4m each.
JBT designs,manufactures,tests and services technological advanced systems and products for industrial food processing customers through its JBT FoodTech segment and JBT AeroTech segment.It operates in about 25 countries globally.
