Twitter is all set to commission its new and first Australian headquarters during the current week, hiring ex-Google Asia-Pacific executive Karen Stocks as its managing director for Australia.

Steadily enhancing presence in Australia since late 2012, the latest move would assist Twitter in boosting its user base to around 2 million, while increasing advertising revenue.
