Staubli Demonstrating Application Know-How at Techtextil India

Stäubli demonstrating application know-how at Techtextil India.

The fourth Techtextil India was held in Mumbai from 3. - 5.10.2013. Stäubli participated with its own booth focusing on application know-how with its active warp and weft control systems.

Stäubli's shed forming technologies with Jacquard machines, dobbies or cam motions are widely used on rapier or air jet weaving machines producing highly technical fabrics from finest filters to heaviest conveyors.

A particular highlight was the Stäubli heavy-duty rapier weaving machine family under the brand of Schönherr. Model discussions centered around the ALPHA and D-series focusing on distance and multi-layer or hybrid fabrics.

Furthermore, Stäubli's warp preparation systems ranging from beam knotting and leasing to automatic drawing-in machines were a focal point at the exhibition. Almost any kind of warp materials - be it from very fine to very coarse, from mono- to multi- filament or from rund to Flat yarns, are successfully and effectively processed into high quality warp beams.

High ranking delegations were welcomed at Stäubli's booth. India is gearing up for major yearly growth rates in technical and industrial textiles. A strong local team of Stäubli experts supports customers venturing into new application fields.
