Voith Paper has been commissioned to rebuild the headboxes and shoe presses of Jianhui PM 3 and PM 4 as well as Jinzhou PM 3 and PM 4 in China.
Voith Paper, Huazhang Technology, Jianhui Paper and Jinzhou Paper have signed an agreement to rebuild the headboxes and shoe presses of existing paper machines.
The rebuild is expected to increase production capacity between 10% and 15%, and enhance paper quality including improved grammage profile and boost in paper formation.
Voith will supply paper machines over the entire life cycle and offer resource-saving solutions to ensure sustainability to its customers.
The order includes the supply and installation of Along with eight headboxes and two Tandem NipcoFlex, the scope of supply includes two CB turn, rolls, sleeves, press felts and services.
This is the not the first time that Voith is working with Huazhang Technology, Jianhui Paper and Jinzhou Paper. The rebuild contract, as per the German company, claims to show the trust that is placed by its clients on its expertise, technology and services.
The partnership with the Chinese companies also lays foundation for a long-term strategic cooperation between them.
Recently, Voith Paper was selected to supply its XcelLine tissue machine, by The Navigator at its factory in Cacia, Portugal.
The XcelLine tissue machine, as per Voith has been designed to sustainably produce high quality tissue paper, while maximising the usage of slush Eucalyptus pulp.
The new machine will be installed with The Navigator’s existing plant in Cacia, which is considered to be one of Europe’s biggest pulp production plants.
