Horsehead Holding Corp ZINC a holding company of Horsehead Corporation, INMETCO and Zochem Inc, declared that Horsehead Corporation signed an amendment to the Shell Chemical LP's Option & Purchase Agreement.
The company said that the amendment will extend by six months, the time in which Shell evaluates the Monaca site.
Horsehead Corporation produces specialty zinc and zinc based products and recycles electric arc furnace dust; The International Metals Reclamation Company recycles metals-bearing wastes and processes nickel-cadmium batteries in North America; and Zochem is a zinc oxide producer in Canada.
