Electronics For Imaging (EFI) has provided its digital printing solutions to French digital printing specialist CIDI and US-based firm Imagine! Express.
The digital fabric printer portfolio of EFI includes VUTEk FabriVU series, which improves image quality and enhances production-level throughput for the customers of the soft signage business.
The company's soft signage printers also feature EFI Reggiani ONE and PRO printer series, which will enable soft signage producers to develop better image quality and higher-volume capacity.
Imagine! Express has selected 3.4m EFI VUTEk FabriVU 340 and EFI Reggiani PRO 340 Printers to replace direct-to-fabric dispersion printing technology and increase capacity significantly.
Imagine! Express president Mike Lecus said: “As we looked to move down this new path, we targeted the transfer printing model that we believe gives you the sharpest, cleanest look with the greatest depth of color.”
VUTEk FabriVU printers will allow signage and display companies to improve productivity and quality, while new 5.2m soft signage model, the EFI VUTEk 520 printer will enable to customers to provide displays, theatrical backdrops and other oversized graphics without using multiple panels.
Imagine! Express provides products and services to the retail, museum, tradeshow and corporate décor customers.
CIDI has invested in a 3.4m EFI Reggiani PRO 340 printer to effectively run soft signage and fabric-printed graphic businesses.
