Yamato Scale Dataweigh and Hayssen Flexible Systems have showcased their food packaging machinery solutions at this year’s imPacked event in the UK.
Yamato has showcased its Alpha Advance multihead weigher in in conjunction with Hayssen’s new Verus VFFS bagger.
Verus is a hygienic intermittent packaging machine, which is developed for use in wet/IQF environments. It holds capacity to produce packs at a rate of up to 100 bags per minute (bpm).
Alpha series of automatic multihead weighers are said to deliver high-speed weighing of 75 weighments per minute (wpm) by the ten-head model and 140 wpm by the 14-head model.
With accurate feeding and feeder amplitude features, Yamato’s auto feeder control system holds capacity to deal with sticky or fragile products.
At the event, Hayssen’s Novus Doy system in combination with the Yamato Alpha Scale and Yamato I-Series checkweigher were also showcased.
The Novus Doy bagger, which can produce up to 90 bpm, will be used to manufacture stand-up pouches. It features Kinetix 6000 servo drive system and stainless steel construction with stainless steel product contact surfaces.
Operating at speeds of between 130 and 480 packs per minute, the I-Series checkweigher holds capacity to handle pack weights ranging from 600g to 6 kg.
At the event, various companies have showcased a range of food packaging machinery products for different applications, including IQF, snacks and confectionary.
