On June 8th, FOTON released production and sales report of May. According to the report, FOTON sold all vehicles 44199 units, up by 1.17% year on year and produced 47281 units, down by 1.86% year on year. From Jan to May, FOTON totally delivered all kinds of vehicles 209427 units, down by 6.87% year on year and rolled off 212570 units, down by 10.12% year on year.
FOTON sold commercial vehicles of 42212 units and produced 41409 units, down by 1.34% and 3.57% year on year. The sales amount of five months are 201165 units, down by 8.23% year on year and the production amount is 204574 units, down by 10.81% year on year. Among them, Ouman sold 7013 heavy trucks, down by 1.7% year on year and amount sales are 32092 units, down by 1.19% year on year.
In May, FOTON produced 38206 trucks and delivered 38944 trucks, down by 3.32% and 1.23% year on year. Among them, the sales of heavy and mid trucks are 7577 units, down by 0.56% year on year; the sales of light trucks are 23892 units, down by 5.67% year on year; the sales of micro trucks are 7475 units, up by 15.35% year on year.
And the 2016 amount sales and production of trucks (including LFS) are 185548 units and 188882 units, down by 9.27% and 11.92% year on year.
In May, FOTON delivered 3268 buses (including LFS), down by 2.68% year on year. Among them, the sales of large and medium buses are 815 units, up by 38.84% year on year; the sales of light buses are 2453 units, down by 11.48% year on year.
And the 2016 amount sales and production of buses are 15617 units and 15692 units, up by 6.22% and 5.07% year on year.
In 2016, ouling engines were delivered 7,934 units, down by 21.97% year on year; FOTON CUMMINS Engines were sold 82160 units in 2016, up by 21.04% year on year. The total sales of ouling and cummins engines are 118914 units, up by 3.52% year on year.
