Digital printing technology provider Xeikon will be showcasing its enhanced folding carton suite where print stations will be equipped with an additional orange toner, in combination with CMYK.
With the extra colour toner, the print stations will help in a more accurate production with a wider colour range.
The folding carton suite offers a ready-to-use package, which makes it easy for customers to configure an efficient and cost-effective set-up for the digital production of folding cartons.
The company says that the suite is suitable for packaging converters who need to add high quality cost-effective short runs of folding cartons to their mix of offerings.
Xeikon director segment marketing and business development labels and packaging Filip Weymans said: "Our strategy is to pursue growth in the folding carton market and we are thrilled at being able to demonstrate for the first time the continuous enhancements we have made to the Xeikon Folding Carton Suite at Emballage 2014 in Paris.

Xeikon specialises in designing, developing and delivering web-fed digital colour presses for labels and packaging applications, document printing and commercial printing.
Xeikon will showcase the technology at Salon de l'Emballage 2014.
