Malaysian manufacturer of thermo-formed plastic packaging and extrusion sheets LEE Soon Seng Plastic Industries is set to spread its presence in the Japanese and Cambodian markets.
Investment holding firm SCGM-owned LEE Soon is concentrating on markets such as Myanmar, Pakistan and Portugal at present, nst.com.my reported.
LEE Soon sells more than half of its products in Malaysia and exports rest of its products to Singapore, Brunei, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, India, Hong Kong, Macau and China.
LEE Soon Seng Plastic Industries managing director Datuk Seri Lee Hock Seng said in 2011 the company purchased new thermo-formed plastic packaging and extruder machines, which contributed to increased production capacity and minimized wastage.
"These machines are environmentally-friendly as they help to recycle waste materials," Seng said.
LEE Soon is targeting new markets in eastern Europe and Australasia going forward.
