Germany-based IntraVis Vision Systems will exhibit its EVOH barrier inspection system at the Pack Expo on 28-31 October 2012 in Chicago, US.
EVOH creates a barrier to oxygen and carbon dioxide, locking quality and essence inside the packaging.
The barriers are either extruded/injection molded as a multilayer structure with regular plastic materials such as PP, PET or HDPE.
IntraVis has a line of inspection systems designed to perform in-line inspection of plastic, glass and metal packaging and components and to find and eject defects ranging from the shape, color, contamination or dimensional variances.
